Description

The set of beeswax candles includes five candles, each 14 cm tall and 2 cm in diameter, made entirely from beeswax. These candles are 100% natural, eco-friendly, and sourced from Estonia.

There’s a significant difference between these and other candles. Unlike paraffin, a by-product of oil production, beeswax candles burn cleanly and are noted in literature for their ability to neutralize airborne pollutants, allergens, and dust particles. The soy, rapeseed, palm, and coconut wax candles we offer are imported to Estonia, hence they are made from materials with a larger environmental footprint.

Our candles are made from wax produced by bees in Pärnumaa, sourced from the coastal meadows of Kastna, Jäärumetsa forests, Tõhela and Nätsi-Võlla bogs. Bees use this wax to build honeycomb cells for raising their young and storing food supplies. The bee family produces the most wax during the peak of their active growth and foraging in May and June, when new honeycomb cells are needed, and honey cells are capped with wax. By autumn, there is a surplus of honeycomb, allowing the wax to be used for candle making.

Beeswax candles emit the sweet aroma of the hive when burned, without the addition of any fragrances or scents. Each candle has a burn time of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

When burning a candle, be cautious and follow fire safety rules. Never leave a candle unattended and keep it away from flammable materials. If burning multiple candles at once, leave at least 10 cm between them to prevent dangerous heat build-up and ensure even burning.
