Guided Tour at Bee Farm and Honey Tasting<\/h3>\n

Step into the world of bees with a guided tour through the apiary and beekeeping house, followed by honey tasting.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll discover the life of honeybees and their colony \u2014 from birth to natural end. What roles do bees play in their community? How does the colony function as one organism? How is its life intertwined with the rhythms of nature and weather? In fair weather, we\u2019ll open a hive so you can see bees being born and working inside the comb. On less sunny days, we\u2019ll observe their activities safely through a viewing window.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll learn what a beekeeper does, what tools and techniques are used in the apiary, and how honey is extracted and poured into jars.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll taste a variety of honeys and discover how the flavour and texture vary depending on the nectar source.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll also explore why bees produce beeswax and propolis, and how these natural products are used by the beekeeper.<\/p>\n

If you like, you can purchase honey, beeswax candles, and propolis to take home.<\/p>\n

We provide all necessary protective clothing and equipment. Please wear closed-toe shoes<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This visit is ideal for families with children, groups of friends, and larger travel groups<\/strong>. However, we do not recommend<\/em> this experience to those with a severe allergy to bee venom<\/strong> \u2014 although the risk of stings is very low and has never occurred during visits, even a rare encounter may be dangerous in case of a strong allergic reaction.<\/p>\n

To ensure a personal and safe experience, we welcome groups of up to 10 participants<\/strong> at a time. For larger groups, we\u2019ll divide the visit: one half takes the beekeeping tour, while the other can either join a nectar plant walk<\/strong> or attend a beeswax candle workshop<\/strong>.
